The Halo Sleepsack Early Walker is a newer addition to the Halo product line and have been a dream come true for me. While my daughter is not fully walking, she is able to stand and “cruise” around her crib. While I was excited about her new abilities, I was nervous that she would trip and bang her head in the sleepsack she was using as it covered her feet. This halo sleepsack encompasses everything I want in a wearable blanket.
She loves having the halo sleepsack wrapped around her. Other blankets fall off in the middle of the night with her constant tossing and turning, but the Halo Sleepsack stays put. I have the micro-fleece one and it keeps her nice and warm.
The Halo Sleepsack comes in different fabrics and colors, allowing you options to find one that your child with love. I also highly recommend any of the sleepsacks in the Halo line, as my daughter has “graduated” to using the “big-girl” one and spent her infancy sleeping in these blankets.
I love that it has allowed us to maintain her nightly routine. She knows that it’s bedtime as soon as the halo sleepsack comes out and it gives her one less thing in her crib to distract her from sleeping. I have used Halo sleepsacks since my daughter was born 2 years ago. As she outgrew her last “sack” style I opted to try the walker version as she will soon be out of a crib and was worried she would trip. These are definitely roomy, esp. for a smaller child but leaves room to grow. She loves her sleep sacks and now asks to be put in her “blankie” at bed time. Highly rec.!!!!

My daughter is not quite a year old, and I didn’t feel comfortable putting a blanket in her crib. Our house stays pretty cold at night, so we’ve had to keep our furnace close to 80 just to keep it warm enough for the baby while she’s asleep. We’d used Halo SleepSacks since she was born, so looked online to see if they were offered for bigger babies. This wearable blanket has been a godsend! Not only can we lower the temperature on the furnace, we don’t have to worry about her getting tangled up in a blanket while she’s asleep. The size was a little disconcerting at first, but we’ve gotten used to it and have been able to recognize the benefits of having a sleeper that kind of pools around her legs – she can have total freedom of movement while she’s sleeping while staying warm by not being able to kick it off. I have recommended this product to all of my friends who have babies.
