I am a recent new mom and while I spent a lot of time caring for children prior to having my own, I was never the one responsible for deciding what products to invest in, what was safe for my baby and where to find all of those hard to come by items.
Kate’s Mom was developed out of my own frustrations and research. In today’s world there are dozens or more items, brands and styles to choose from for each type of baby product. Ultimately parents are left to try and navigate their way through all of the options available. Don’t get me wrong, options are a good thing, but they can also leave a new parent feeling overwhelmed and confused. I often found myself in need of an item, unsure of what to buy, and sometimes even where to get what I needed.
Fast forward a year and here I am to hopefully help you on your parenthood journey. I have written product reviews for baby items, as well as items that a pregnant or nursing mother may need. I’ve done the research and have either tested out the products or like versions in my own home, or they have come recommended to me by friends with young children.
